I really had a lot of fun working on this and I'm actually thinking of collaging in another one since I still have lots more space stamps and ephemera leftover... |
For some reason, I love these guys floating around inside the space shuttle.... |
Since I was on a space roll I had to make some spacey envelopes too. This went to Russia and is already there. |
Couple more envelopes with a space theme... |
I started prepping my travel journal.....and getting things ready for my travels... |
There is sooooo much planning for these trips but it really is all part of the fun....gotta find the flea markets....and cool post offices and good restaurants.... |
Yep, I added tabs to my travel journal and divided it up into three sections...a week in each country... |
And...Rome....last stop..... pasta and holy cards! |
I made two tiny books.....very tiny... |
Of course there were lunches....this is one. Delicious potato-bacon soup so I figured it out and made it at home....we have been having cold and rainy weather so soup is perfect. |
I love looking at all your goodies! Wherever did you find a Mars passport? I have a Japan that needs attention.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jacki -- you can find the Mars passport and lots of other cool ones from The Unemployed Philosophers Guild on Amazon.
DeleteI absolutely LOVE your Mars passport. I am also an Aries, and fell in love with your Mars spreads. I have several of those space themed postage stamps, too. They are all wonderful and I love yours.
ReplyDeleteYou are traveling again? LUCKY you, dear. It sounds like you already have an itinerary, and your travel journal is ready to write in. Super incredible art. I love it all!
You're an Aries too? SO many of my friends are Aries. So happy you enjoyed the MARS passport and everything else.....and thank you for commenting. I see the comments have fallen off once again....so I really appreciate those who do.
DeleteYou are a busy woman, perhaps the most productive one I know. Three weeks in Europe? Yay you. That sounds great.
ReplyDeleteRainy here too, and cold. I'm tired of cold fingers and ready for spring. Happy travels!
Hi Leslie -- and thanks!! Still rainy here and cold....but I do like it (mostly). I am pretty productive but I have one pal who even tops me. I try to get up and make things every day first thing so I have a good start to the day.....but today? I'm taking it easy and baking a cake.
DeleteOMGosh!! I love your Mars journal and space envelopes!Totally fun and the guys floating around? oh yea, they were a must! But the giant lady before them- ha! I love her!
ReplyDeleteI am thinking I missed a post somewhere as you are headed out on travels? I don't remember reading that! So happy you are taking your journals and us along with you- you are right? I mean I travel virtually with you each time! heehee
