INCOMING From Mike Dickau (IUOMA) a wonderful mail artist and prolific artistamp maker this great little story about his dad's typewriter which recently came to him... |

INCOMING From my pal Kelly P--a very fun envelope of all kinds of post boxes made from a page of a discarded children's book from the library. And where did she get that stamp? |
You're inspiring me to get cracking on my studio area! I just bought a huge old postal sorting desk with all the cubbies, so I need to finish cleaning the decades of accumulated dust off its shelves and rearrange to fit it in the room. :)
ReplyDeleteMelissa--happy to help! And a postal sorting desk with cubbies? You are killing me....
DeleteAwesome, I hope you had fun with your visitors :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jennifer. I sure did!
DeleteNice neat desk, love your vintage furnishings...and the typewriter of course. Wonderful stamps, I can see why you are framing them and your collage book from friend Susuannia, wow love it. Great outgoing as always. xox

DeleteHola GinaVisione -- yeah--see you very soon!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your workspace...where all the magic happens! And how fun to see all these beautiful artistamps you are receiving! They certainly are works of art in and of themselves. Lots of yummy mail going out and coming in...I believe I need to get something off to you soon! :-)
ReplyDeleteA transformation! But your studio looks great whether it's tidy or.....not. :) It's always 100% inspiring!
ReplyDeleteaw...sallyw....you are very sweet to say so...
DeleteVery inspiring and creative workspace. I could totally work there!
ReplyDeleteSeth - come on over and hang out next time you are in SF.
DeleteI'm always amazed at how organized you are. If I sent and received as much mail as you do I would be buried.
ReplyDeleteI love what you got from Planet Susania. She creates some pretty magical stuff.
Christine H -- I agree Planet Susannia is pretty wonderful. You're no mail art slouch yourself. Loved the UK mailings. (Still wish I got that one that never made it to SF)
DeleteOK...I see I need to clean up my space! An inspirational posting here!
ReplyDeleteLaura...things have started getting messy here again....

ReplyDeleteThanks, Anna! That isn't actually a San Francisco bag -- it is a vintage pillow sitting on that chair.
