Lots of inspiration (for me) |
Making some cards and small collages. Working on Mailart365. |
Work, work, work (it feels like play) |
Chinatown altered book in progress. |
Shrine inspired by El Dia des las Muertas |
A room of one's own |
OK, you see every single inch isn't covered in paper and inspiration. I manage to keep a calm peaceful space in the back. And I have a sweet little deck with plants too. |
This is fun to see. I do something similar, except my desk is much messier. The rest of the house is neat and tidy.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun place to play, great light. I love your hob nail glasses...
ReplyDeleteLove your space! And your work inspires me. I did get a postcard sent off to a friend today. One day, one postcard :) Looking at other inspirations. COLD outside, but cozy in here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a FANTASTIC space! I am envious. Love your huge desk.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great space. I'm jealous.
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone. I know I am lucky to have my own studio. My husband built me that huge work table years ago and it is perfect. He made it taller than a usual table so I can stand and work comfortably. I can also give small workshops for three people on it. I love to go into my studio and lose myself in artwork....
ReplyDeleteIt looks so inspired - just like your work and you! Love all the space you have - and of course you look so neat, tidy and organized! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy seeing other studios. Mine is tiny but functions well and has a similar feeling, a worked in feeling, a feeling that something takes place in it. And like you, it's not work for me but fun and bliss.
ReplyDeleteAwww, I love this post - it makes me have a different vision of you creating when I see your mail pieces.
ReplyDeleteI am kind of laughing....about the neat and tidy comments....
