A few blocks out and I spy a flea market...let's have a look... |
I always MUST look thru the old postcards... |
Old coins, old currency, postcards, stamps, letters..... what's not to like? |
If you see this guy, follow him....trust me....he knows ALL the best places to go... |
Inspiration is everywhere....even the soap looks beautiful... |
La Poste has bikes all over...I was tempted to take one for a spin but I thought better of it.. |
It wasn't easy to keep up the travel journal with all the excitement but I did it. Needed a pastry for energy after all that walking... |
Yummy!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteWhat an amazing visit, albeit rather short. I was so impressed with all those postcards and photos. I fear this is another place where I would have spent a small fortune! Even the pastry looked delicious.
ReplyDeleteHa ha I figured no one wanted to see the hundreds of photos I took there in a week.......
DeleteI love France, too! We were there in October--our first trip. It's so beautiful, the food is wonderful, and the people were consistently nice and helpful. If I could speak fluent French I'd live there. But the lovely people don't like you to butcher their language (that's why they're so willing to speak English if they can).
ReplyDeleteOh! Mon dieu!! I definitely butcher the french language but I sure try to speak....and I agree how kind the French are.....
DeleteWow!! What a cool first day out! Those books!! Omgosh- gorgeous!! Thanks for the trip around, excited to see what is next!
