May 1, 2016 Happy May Day. Just getting back to my mail art roots and showing you some mail I have recently sent out -- come on over and take a look! |
I had to play a little bit....I have been using watercolors and watercolor pencils on some envelopes and it's really relaxing and fun. Give it a try! |
Besides my regular outgoing mail, I have been up to my old tricks of altering vintage envelopes too. So much fun. And sometimes I mail them out... |
Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, Cindy....
DeletePamela, thank you for the inspiration! I loved receiving your mail art this weekend. It's sooooo special! Are the letter and mailbox separate stamps? Where can you purchase them? xoxo
ReplyDeletePlaya Paper -- they are separate stamps but I found them at SF Scrap so I haven't a clue where they are originally from.......sorry....
DeleteYou create the most incredible mail art. I am SO in awe of your decorated envelopes. These are true works of art. And yes, I believe you DO deserve a cappuccino after creating and sending all that mail.
ReplyDeleteWhy, thank you! That is so nice of you to say.....
DeleteHow I would love to watch you create all this mail art goodness. Have you ever done a video? You must have an incredible ability to stay focused to create as much as you do.
ReplyDeletecjsrq -- come on over and watch! No, I haven't done a video but I always welcome folks into my studio......thanks for the very nice comment.
DeleteIf I didn't live in Florida, you might just find me on your doorstep! LOL!
DeletePamela, Thanks for your continuing mail art that arrives in my mailbox. I am a lucky and appreciative recipient of your art. I have some goodies as always from my sisters (who are always on the look out for things I love to make art with.) to give to you soon. They have added you to the list of artists who loves certain things....clip art book, bird books and some large print novels coming your way.Their thanks? They hope to see some of the gifts to you return in the form of your MAIL ART. I told them I suspect that can be arranged!
ReplyDeleteI am sure lucky to have the Lee Sisters looking out for me! I did send Tracy something but I don't have Melissa's address......and I can't wait to see them on Saturday on ART DAY!
