Breakfast on the roof overlooking Fes.... A great way to start off the day before heading out to the medina (or souk) and exploring. Mint tea is the drink of choice in Morocco but I managed to avoid it. The riad we stayed in served really good coffee (maybe because the owner is from Italy). Mint tea...or coffee....but good luck finding anything alcoholic to drink ion Morocco. Today I'm playing along with Bleubeard and Elizabeth with a T is For.....post. It is kind to have a little theme -- well, besides mail art of course -- and the theme for the Tuesday posts are to include a DRINK. Being that my blog has Cappuccino in the title, that is no problem for me. |
I set out every day in Fes keeping my eye out for things that interest me...and you know....being a mail artist and all....I like mail slots.. |
And, I love post boxes. This one is sitting in a rather exotic (to me) locale but I am wondering what that message is on the post box? |
Here's a cleaner version of a PO box....no graffiti on this one... |
LETTERS In two languages....French is the wide spread second language in Fes...not English. My pathetic French came in handy since both my Spanish and Arabic is limited to saying thank you. |
I rather like it when I can't read anything.... |
I picked up quite a few earrings in the souk -- going to remove the ear wires and try to use them as charms in my travel journal. I love the Fatima's Hands .... |
I got Henna stencils of the hands too...I just know I am going to think of something interesting to do with those... |
Here's another lovely spot to catch up on working on my journal. I took the photo before messing it up with all my art supplies and paper ephemera... Now, here is a BIG QUESTION for all of you out there -- Seth Apter -- a wonderful artist whom many of you already know -- posted a question on his blog's FaceBook page and asked "What is your preferred platform (to follow) -- Blog? Facebook? Instagram? Pinterest?" The results showed Facebook and Pinterest and Instagram all more popular than blogs.... sigh... But, I think, since Seth asked the question on FaceBook the results were skewed toward FB .... so, now I am asking YOU GUYS the question (and so is another wonderful artist and blogger) Caterina Giglio Inquiring minds want to know -- do you want to see this blog continue? Or is everyone on to FB, Pinterest and Instagram. Blogging takes a lot of time and effort and what most bloggers want from that is just to know that there are like-minded folks out there actually reading the blog. The best way to let me know, is to leave a comment. But maybe you are on to other things. Personally, I don't care for Instagram much...and really don't look at Pinterest much either...I do like FB but for me, it doesn't replace reading wonderful blogs like Elizabeth's, Seth's and Caterina's.... So, something to ponder. Please do let me know what you think. And I hope you enjoy this post with some mint tea or coffee or adult beverage of your choice... See you all soon....well, maybe... and Happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate. |
I read many blogs daily and check FB, instagram and Pinterest but blogs are much more interesting IMHO. Bloggers are able to examine our world in much more detail I think. Pinterest and instagram are more like window shopping for me.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth -- I agree -- blogs have more depth and the comparison to window shopping is a good one. Thank you for your input.
DeleteI'm with you. I much prefer coffee to tea, but that doesn't mean others don't like it. I sometime drink it once a week, which is enough for me.
ReplyDeleteLove the mail boxes and especially the ones that are so much different from those in the US.
As for your question, I am a BLOGGER. I don't tweet, I don't do Instagram, I'm not on Facebook, and I'm not on any other social media site, like Flickr or Pinterest. I'm also concerned that people are not taking part in blogs anymore. I hope that's not the case, because I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have my blog to post to. Thanks for raising this question, and I'll also go to Cat's blog and see what she has to say about it, too.
Thanks for sharing your coffee, your mailboxes, your art space, AND your great blog question with us for T this week.
And I'm delighted that you chose to join us again this week, too Pamela. BTW, happy Thanksgiving, too.
Thank you Bleubeard and Elizabeth -- I know how you feel -- I love having a blog but I do get discouraged when my FB posts gets a lot more attention. I think of them as little teases for the real thing - the blog. I am curious what my blog readers will say -- and Caterina's too......
DeleteI follow pretty much everything via RSS so that's one blog lover. :) Is there a way for you to check feed reader hits in addition to direct hits on your blog? It may be skewing your blog/FB results, albeit slightly.
ReplyDeletealways doing...thanks...I don't get all the results regarding the various readers....I do see some good stats with a lot of views but if folks don't comment I don't really know if they are enjoying the posts or bored or like it or don't etc....you know? Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
DeleteGreat post, thanks for sharing the photos of Fes, it looks wonderful. I visited there almost 50 years ago. Mint tea is nice, but you can't beat coffee! Have wonderful week and happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteValerie-Jael -- wow.....Fes 50 years ago???? It must have been VERY rustic then....lol...I like coffee too but I loved seeing the fresh mint sellers...very cool.
Deletei´m totally with elizabeth... Blogging, nothing else.
ReplyDeletethe only way to Keep my "Artist diary", where i can come to my archives and Show what i did - and when. but comments are becoming less, more People tend to other media...
happy t- day to you!
johanna...yes..I agree...comments are less.....if you host a give-away you always gets LOTS and lots of comments but for regular posts...not so much..Good point, I guess a blog is a visual diary...good way to think of it....thank you.
DeleteI vote for blogs! Although it is hard to keep it up to date it still is the best way to share both longer texts and lots of photos.
ReplyDeleteFB is too crowded and all over the place..I have to see lots of BS before I happen to see something interesting.
Hi Dorit! I agree -- it is the best way to share longer texts and lots of photos. i wish I knew more how to set up my blog though...there are things I'd like to do with that I don't know how to do....but I keep trying. Thanks for commenting. Nice to see your name here.
DeleteI love this blog! And I am very much attached to my blog as well. I do have pinterest, FB and instagram, but they all refer to my blog, haha. Because I am such a small fish in the big snail mail world, making a page on FB for my blog was a great idea, I get far more visits now when I post something.
ReplyDeleteOn pinterest I show some of my cards and mail art, hoping to get some name with those (so far a big fail). And instagram is great for quick snapshots, for some reason the ones on which I made a huge mess are the most popular.
TomoyoHime -- you have most certainly been a very steady and loyal commenter and it is much appreciated. I also am on FB, Pinterest and Instagram -- for the same reason as you but it doesn't really help the blog too much...I know people love Instagram but it doesn't do anything for me...I like more detail.
DeleteI'm a blog person. I don't do any of the other platforms - they are too shallow for me. And too quick - move too quick and something is missed. Life becomes superficial. I've always been a deep thinker and appreciate the energy and depth that goes into blog postings. I also appreciate that people can still write - it seems that everyone uses texting abbreviations everywhere instead of writing with proper grammar - ick.
ReplyDeleteDawn -- hello! And thanks for your comment. I know what you mean about grammar and writing...I am a photographer in my "real" life and bad at writing so I try really hard to be very careful and do my best.
DeleteMy preference is to read blogs. There is just too much on Pinterest, FB, Instagram and as a result, on the rare occasions that I look at them, I tend to just skim through them and I'm sure I miss interesting things. I would really miss your blog as you always have something interesting to read and see - today's post is a perfect example!
ReplyDeletecjsrq -- I'm happy to see your vote! And I agree. I love to read blogs too and get a lot of ideas and inspiration there on my reading list. Thank you so much for all the lovely comments you've left too.
DeleteI don't know why it never occurred to me to use earrings for charms! Seems obvious now - and I have some "souvenir" type earrings I never wear, so now I can repurpose them! I prefer your blog because I think it goes into more detail but FB is easy because if you are on it daily it pops up and easy to leave comments. I don't think Pinterest and Instagram are good platforms for blog-type posts - they just focus on a photograph...and you're right - many times your FB post is a prompt for me to go to your blog.
ReplyDeleteMichele - Thanks so much for your input -- appreciate it. I agree with what you wrote -- Instagram just seems like a photo and for me there isn't any real connection there. With a blog there is more depth and the blogger and the readers often make a connection....And I'm glad you like the earring/charm idea. I also re-purposed some to make key chain using binder rings. Works great.
DeleteHi, it's nice to "meet" you for T-Day. I like the name of your blog.
ReplyDeleteYour trip to Morocco looks so interesting. You had great ideas for collecting little bits along the way to use in your art. I'm looking forward to seeing what you make with the earrings, henna hand stencils, etc.
As far as social media goes, I don't use Pinterest or Instagram. I love words, I love reading and writing, I love being able to go in-depth with my art-related posts, and I still think that blogging is the best way to do that. For me, Facebook is for keeping up with my "real-life" friends, and blogging is for keeping up with the art community.
Denise -- i like words too -- and photos. I am so busy answering these comments that I haven't been able to look at all the links on the T day post from Bleubeard and Elizabeth -- but i will for sure. I am looking forward to playing with that henna stencil and the earrings too....will keep you posted. Thanks so much for reading.
DeleteGosh what a fascinating country to be in to explore the culture and food! Love the photos of the post boxes. Although I am on FB I rarely go there-mostly to connect with private art groups. I started Pinterest quite awhile ago but don't bother with it anymore. Don't have a phone to use Instagram. But I LOVE blogging! I feel the blogging community is more personal and connected in a way that just doesn't compare with the randomness of FB. I consider many in blogland my friends because it's just how everyone makes you feel. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteLinda -- I love "meeting" people via blogs too and I have actually met quite a lot of folks in real life because of my blog so I agree with you. I agree -- the blogging community does seem more personal and connected than FB. YAY! Thank you for commenting.
DeleteI really enjoy your blog! There is so much that you share that would never really work on another platform. Visiting your blog is like a virtual visit to your studio--something I think most of us wish we could see in person! Thank you for sharing your photos from your trip too. I'm partial to mint tea ;)
ReplyDeleteCindy -- you are certainly welcome to visit my studio when you visit SF. Thanks for all the comments you have left --it is very much appreciated. If you like mint tea you'd be in heaven in Morocco.......
DeleteBlogging all the way.
ReplyDeleteGood thinking!
DeleteIts a blogging life for me! I don't do any of the other platforms.. just blogging... And blogging has slowed down quite a bit for me too... Its lost alot of its shiney appeal. And your right it does take a lot of time. I always think one day i'll wake up and i'll just be done with blogging. But it hasn't happened yet.. :) Happy Tday! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by -- and commenting. When I read a blog and enjoy it I always do try to leave a comment because I know how it feels to wonder if folks are reading and enjoying.....
DeleteBlogs for sure, especially yours. You're able to do more than just show a random pic (as in Instagram, FB, etc.) Having said that, I do know they're a lot of work. (Ahem. Case in point, mine has not been updated for months.) You do a really fabulous job on your blog, Pamela, and it's great to be able to come along on your journeys, but I know the feeling of wondering if it's all worth it. Perhaps if you do it first and foremost for yourself -- to record your journeys and work. And then, lucky us, we get to come along too! And while it's very considerate of you, I'm not sure you need to take the time to respond to everyone who replies, for instance. That must take a lot of time and I don't think it is expected. (I owe you a letter! Soon, soon!)
ReplyDeleteSome good points, Adrienne -- I understand what you mean about doing it for myself but actually I do lots and lots of art projects just for myself and my blog is a way to engage others in a conversation....kind of like a cyber art salon...i like to hear what folks think of my projects and share things they are working on, etc. PS I miss YOUR blog!
DeleteChecking FB generally makes me frustrated and unhappy although I love seeing the pics of my grandchikdren. Life's too short for Pint and Inst. Blogs are impt. To me whether I check them every day or catch up infrequently. (I don't like using a feed reader--it's fun to click and hope and discover a lovely new post.). I blog off and on--recently a private blog for family about things I found when cleaning out my late parents house. To me it's a perfect medium.
ReplyDeleteMe -- I actually like using a reader -- i use BlogLovin -- so I know my favorite blogs will show up there and I won't miss them. i also subscribe to my most favorite ones via email. Thank you for taking the time to comment.
DeleteYES I want to see your blog continue. And NO, not everybody has completely moved to social media. You know I, for one, often don't use FB, but I'll always read blogs. Social media has become so corporatized, whereas blogs still retain independence from pop-up ads, trending faux news, every commercial/corporate business in the world vying to get a piece of readers' attention.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I opened a Pinterest account some time ago, after the initial flush of interest, I dropped it. It's just too overwhelming, as are all things social media. Blogs allow one to think about what they're reading, see into the blogger's life (art or otherwise). It's like having a slow conversation. Commenting on FB is just not the same. Anyhow, that's my two cents. xo
Connie Rose -- thank you for your two cents -- and I think your opinion is worth a lot more than two cents BTW. Yes -- that is a good point -- no ads on my blog (I know people do try to Get revenue and sign up but I don't want to do that). Pinterest can be a huge time suck which I don't like. I do enjoy catching up and reading blogs when I have time. Thanks for chiming in! (And I always enjoy your blog as well)
DeleteMy FB is open when I am online so I can see the rolling wall. I love going to blogs because it has a personal touch. If owners of blogs would post their blog links or daily posts on facebook more people would see it because FB is a great platform to guide people to the personalised blog. Otherwise there is no other way to find blog posts unless someone else recommends it. You only have to put a page on your blog and then post the link on all other platforms, easy peasy. Pinterest derives mostly from others pinning a blog page....so blogs are still alive, we just need to use other platforms to showcase it. Without blogs FB cannot post delicious blogs. IMHO
ReplyDeleteBridget -- ha ha I tried to put the FaceBook link on my blog and I couldn't make it work. I am not so great at the tech stuff. I am kinda pproud of myself for figuring out as much as I have. I do link each blog post to FB but there are not making folks clicking the link to see the actual blog. They may already subscribe to it by email or an RRS reader so maybe that's why.
DeleteHmm, I think that the only thing that holds a candle to this blog is your FB feed. But it doesn't really feel like a coherent story, just fragments. I like how composed your blog posts are. I don't do Instagram. I like Pinterest, but again it seems very fragmented. The blog seems to be the place that you can hold longer conversations.
ReplyDeleteWell! Aren't you nice? That is such a nice comment, Carter, and I thank you for it. I really enjoy the FB page for CappuccinoAndArt but it isn't as important to me as working on the blog itself. I try really hard to keep it interesting and helpful with art ideas. I love it when I post tutorials or things I am working on and people share with me what they are making too -- like seeing your travel journal. Thank you.
DeleteI am reading and I like blogs. Although the centered text is kind of hard to read. Less than 10% see your posts on Facebook, so if people want to be sure to see all you blog, then subscribing to a blog is the best way to see it all. Whenever I think blogging is dead, I look at the Posie Gets Cozy blog, She isn't even on Facebook and she has tons of engaged readers. (p.s. also the fact that I can't leave a comment on here without being signed into something makes me not want to leave this comment and usually I don't, but I will this time. See if you can let people comment another way).
ReplyDeleteHi Krissy -- haven't heard f that blog -- I will check it out. I am not sure what you mean about the centered text being hard to read? I write under each photo and when I look at it it seems easy. Are you reading on your phone? That sign-in to comment thing is VERY frustrating but that isn't up to me, it is a Blogger thing. I wish everyone could just comment. I have thought of moving the blog to another platform like WordPress or TypePad but often times you have to sign in to comment on those as well. I am not a whiz at tech stuff unfortunately. I do notice some blogs seem to have more engaged readers than others -- e.g. Dispatch From LA, a favorite blog I read, always has LOTS of comments and I am jealous. I do see good stats -- apparently LOTS of looking but not much commenting. Thanks so much for your input -- really appreciated it.
DeleteI do love blogging more... I have a tendency to get behind in it but that the way I am with everything I do. FB is good for family and for finding all of those wonderful quotes that are posted there but it's mostly just eye candy there. Love all of your photos ! Such an exotic place ♥
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carol -- appreciate the comment and I'm so glad you enjoy the photos.
DeleteBlogging works for me. FB shows me too much stuff that annoys me (often from people I like) plus there's always the pressure to move on to the next post. When you open a blog, that blog is the only reason you are there. It's cool. (Though left-justified text would be nicer ....! Not a serious complaint.)
ReplyDeleteHola Judith -- I don't understand your comment about Left justified text....it seems the text is centered under the photos...and someone else said she didn't like the right side text so you guys have me totally confused. But I'm trying! Any great website designer out there who wants to help me out feel free! Thanks for commenting.
DeleteOh yes please keep blogging! I have nothing to do with Twitter, FB, Instagram, etc. but I love reading about your travel adventures and mailart and seeing all your great pictures on this blog. You inspire me to try my hand at mailart.
ReplyDeleteStoneZebra -- thanks so much -- I am so glad you like the blog/photos. And I encourage you to go for it and try some mail art -- it is so much fun to send and receive. Give it a try! Thank you for commenting.
DeleteI love your blog! Thanks for all the inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteThanks you so very much!
DeleteI am not a huge fan of mint tea but sure like the cup it is in. As for social media, I prefer blogs. More like a conversation, easier for me to feel I am getting to know someone. I don't use instagram or pinterest. I do use FB, mostly to keep up with a few friends. I do hope you continue with your blog as I'm enjoying your posts and only recently found your link.
ReplyDeleteDarla -- so happy to hear you enjoy my blog -- thank you. The blogs are winning here for sure....and that is a pretty cup, isn't it? I agree - blogs are more personal. And I love having a conversion with folks who read mine!
DeleteI like the new blog background, Pamela! (to answer the last question, blogging is always nr.1, closely followed by Pinterest. Facebook is way way way last on my list).
ReplyDeleteSomeone apparently doesn't share your love for post boxes. Sad. Or maybe he/she simply doesn't like the colour yellow? Or maybe he/she just had a bad egg at breakfast :-))
Thanks, Marie -- I like the airplane/cloud theme too. I wish I could figure out how to change it up more but that will have to do for now. I actually like FB. I have it figured out to unfollow all the bpring people who post pictures of their painted toenails and follow artists so I see a lot of art in my my feed. And I joined groups for art -- ATC groups, collage groups, mail art groups etc so it's all good. But I still love to read a good blog post!
DeleteWonderful photos of Morocco ! Thank you for sharing all this!
ReplyDeleteI am also drawn to blogs - facebook makes me just nervous- but Pinterest is something I enjoy very much for inspiration as well.
Happy belated T-Day! Thank you for your visit on my blog!
oxo
Susi
And thank you too -- I do like Pinterest for inspiration and tutorials, I agree but love to read blogs the most. Glad you enjoyed the Morocco photos -- I have more to post and ones of Spain so stay tuned in you are interested.
DeleteMint tea, yuck, but coffee okay. Great yellow post box. I commented on Cat's blog via Seth's questions. Blog, heck yeah, the other stuff just doesn't compare to the stories to in this venue. Happy Thanksgiving. xox
ReplyDeleteRight on, sister! Happy Thanksgiving Corrine -- have a great day.
DeleteSuch an interesting post. I still love blogs and blogging. I do have to admit I like being the simplicity of just clicking "like" on FB though esp for things I like but don't necessarily feel strong enough about to leave a comment.
ReplyDeleteGood point, Halle -- also probably confirms the blogs are a little deeper than FaceBook because bloggers hope for a conversation -- like this one! It has been wonderful to get so many people checking in with what they think. Thank you for commenting.
DeleteI read your blog very frequently and get inspired by all your posting...I just rarely comment. I've always wanted to swap with you, but don't think that my mail art is up to snuff! lol! Keep up the good work! :D
ReplyDeleteJessica -- I'm so glad to hear that! Thank you. I'm sure your mail art is great but sometimes I am so overwhelmed with mail that I can't add more folks to my mailing lists. Right now after a long trip to Europe and short trip to LA I owe everybody mail. Thanks so much for your comment.
DeleteLately I have read that interest in blogs is falling...but I still read them. I rarely participate in any other social media outlets. I don't know how people have the time to wade through the garbage to find the things that are important to them!
ReplyDeleteRight! There is just so much online you have to choose what to read. We'd all rather being DOING rather than staring at a screen for hours, right? But I do get a lot of inspiration from some terrific blogs. Thanks for stopping by mine.
Deleteoh my, I much prefer blogs! I usually want to hear all the details about a subject. Facebook just doesn't do it for me...please continue! Happy Thanksgiving too...;)
ReplyDeleteDianne -- many thanks! If I always got this many comments it wouldn't be an issue....thanks for adding your voice. And, happy day after Thanksgiving.
DeleteI love reading blogs, which almost always have longer posts and more writing than facebook or instagram. I like how personal they are and the insight into the person. Pretty pictures are all fine and good, but I only seem to follow blogs that also have interesting and well written text. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Pie Poster! I've seen your name here before -- being a photographer, not a writer, I lean heavily toward the visuals but I TRY to write....I like how personal blogs are too. I like making cyber friends and then I often meet the people in my travels...
DeleteI read blogs. Don't comment unless I have something unique to add or have a question about posting. Appreciate everyone who takes the time to blog and research a topic and present photographs. As for the other platforms, who has time to follow all that?
ReplyDeleteGood point, Annette -- not commenting if you don't have something to say -- but when i read blogs i like I usually drop a small note in the comments just to let the blogger know I read the post, since i know it means a lot. Thank you for taking time to comment this time.
DeleteAnd that is a good point, too -- to show my appreciation to the blogger. Thank you.
DeleteI'm a big fan of blogs. I'm not on Instagram, I don't like the way Pinterest is organized, and FB just doesn't have the right format for sharing art and having a real conversation. It saddens me that so many people are abandoning their blogs for these "quicky" platforms that really don't do justice to someone's art or writing. However, most things are cyclical so my hope is that in time more people will return to blogging.
ReplyDeleteMiss Iowa -- Agreed! I like FB but you don't really have a conversation and it is hard to share anything in depth (in my opinion). Looking at these comments on this post, it seems a whole lot of folks still like blogs so there is hope. Thanks for commenting...
DeleteHi Pamela....I am wondering how your father-in-law liked receiving all the birthday cards for his 101 birthday?
ReplyDeleteHi Peggy Lynn -- that will be the next post up! He loved the mail -- I am working on a post about it right now so stay tuned!
DeleteWanted to get my 2 cents in. I love reading blogs if they're well written and consistently on topic, like yours. I have, however, pretty much given up on mine. I posted regularly for years but in the last 6 months have completely lost interest in sitting down at the computer and typing, finding and loading photos, etc. I do so much computer work at work that I now have zero interest in doing it at home.
ReplyDeleteI post pics on IG cause you can also post to FB, Twit, Tumblr and Flickr all at once. I b e wordy or not, as my suits my mood, and get instant feedback by how many Likes the pic gets. I don't much miss the comments I got on the blog, which mostly weren't lengthy anyway.
I like posting to multiple places because I know that many (most?) people don't follow the same person on multiple social media.
I follow a variety of people on FB, Twit and IG. Most of them post only on one of those, so if I don't use all those media, I can't follow some of the accounts I like.
So life is ok without my blog. Not sure I'll ever get back to posting regularly. Tried using the app on my phone. It's ok, but still not real inspired for some reason. Maybe the blog has just run its course for me. As for having a record of my life and work - IG does that just fine since I post all sorts of pics - animals, art, food, garden.
Happy to see you chiming in, Leslie. Funny you mention posting all the various forms of social media because that is a pet peeve of mine -- seeing the same photos of FaceBook, Instagram and Flickr....geeze.....so each to her own I guess! I try to post on FB and my blog and different photos on each. I actually enjoy working on my blog but unlike you I don't have to work on the computer all day....I miss seeing your posts, especially of your art projects, but I understand.
DeleteHi Pamela, I love your blog and it is a good thing to see that there is an other blog post on FB. Most of the time I read your blog, but not always comment on it. So keep up the good work! And.... I am already collecting for the next mail to you :-)
ReplyDeleteNina -- always happy when someone says they enjoy my blog. And I am especially when I get a comment so I know -- thank you.
DeleteDefinitely blogs, for more depth on stories. I hardly ever comment, unless I have something specific to say. FB is ok for latest brief updates, but irritating at not being able to find past items I remember as interesting. It is easy to just 'like' posts as an acknowledgement to authors. Maybe blogs need something similar? I only look at Instagram if there's a link from a blog, Pinterest not at all.
ReplyDeleteWell, Niko -- thanks for commenting THIS time! It's appreciated. Yeah -- I guess a "like" button on blogs would be nice....but really....a comment, however brief, is so much better....
DeleteIt has been a surprise when I have started to read your post and thought... "Mmm, I think I know that street!". Then I realised the pictures were taken in Fes. I live in North Morocco, and I was in Fes last October. And I took a picture of that very door! (So don't think it's your picture when I publish in my blog!). I think we even stayed in the same place: Ryad 53, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHow amazing is it?
By the way, the words on the mailbox (لا تودع الجرائد والمطبوعات في هذا الصندوق) mean: "No newspapers nor publications shall be deposited in this box".
Let me know when you come back to Morocco!
Eva A -- oh!! How fun to read this comment all the way from Morocco. It would have been wonderful to meet you. do hope to visit again so maybe we will met up. Thank you for translating the arabic too. We stayed at the riad ALGILA FES (Medina Charm Hotel) at 17 Derb Al Moukri -- I highly recommend it. The people were lovely, the food fabulous and the hotel was beautiful and a great location. I sent myself ap ostcard from Fes and got it here in San Francisco with a cool stamp and cancellation. I'll have to take a look at your blog now....
DeleteWhoa, now this is a LOT of comments! Ask and ye shall receive! You deserve lots of comments for all the creativity and eye candy you share with us, Pamela.
ReplyDeleteAndria -- I know! A whole lot, right? I wish it was always this way.......And thank you for your nice comment, Andria...
Delete
