Last, a San Francisco envelope leaving town.... Write a Letter -- Get a Letter! |
Just when I think you can't top your mail art, you've outdone yourself with the Indian theme and the currency exchange bits! So fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI can practically smell the satsumas. Must go to the Asian market and look for some; if I can't find them, then off to the Body Shop, because they smell so heavenly.
What kind of paper did you use for Donovan's envelope? Is it newsprint that you just doubled up to make it thicker & stronger?
i love these ones!
ReplyDeletechinese food art!
These are terrific. You have such great sources of paper to choose from living in the city, marvelous all. .Lucky recipients. xox Corrine
ReplyDelete@chandlerquera Thanks so much for the nice comments. I got a )free) glossy food magazine from the Japanese Supermarket here in inSF and used the pages to make Donovan's card. I posted a bunch of the envelopes I made in the previous post if you want to see them.
ReplyDelete@superhero thanks! just sent you a pc
@dosfishes Some of the paper is local and some from traveling...thanks.
(would you like a small shipment?)
It's a rainy Sunday here in NYC & there will be some mail-art this afternoon, so keep your eye on the mailbox my dear!
ReplyDeleteRainy Sunday morning here in San Francisco and mailart is being made here too -- right back at you, Steph!
ReplyDeleteRainy Thursday, I'd rather be making envelopes (yours are fab') than 1) reconciling the check book and credit card 2) preparing for my upcoming trip, what to take? what to take? besides my Mail Art kit.
ReplyDeleteOh Mim--I will happily trade places with you and start packing my suitcase. I am too jealous.
