MailArt 365

Five days into the New Year and five postcard collages for MailArt 365.

I am letting the spirit move me.
This one is inspired by a photo I took on Olvera Street
in LA.

I love Joss Paper and I am a photographer so a combination of the two
seemed like a good idea.

 I like red and gold.

Hope the folks receiving these will enjoy getting them.
Only 360 days left!

With the holidays and a few other things that have been going on,
I am a little behind in my mail.
Just so you know.
But I am hard at work and will be answering all the lovely people who have
sent me mail very soon.

From La Belle France

From my lovely, long time French postal friend, I received a wonderful long letter
and these amazing French Stamps direct from La Poste.

What a fantastic surprise!

Score!

Santa delivered last night
(and ate all the cookies too).
Apparently I have been very good.

Santa (or someone) has been reading my blog and knew how much I wanted a typewriter.
(Actually this beauty came from my very sweet husband).
I am delighted
and will be pounding out some mail starting tomorrow.

The funny thing is, I actually read about my own surprise on Tom's blog
but didn't put it together:

Good thing the surprise wasn't ruined!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

A Happy Mail Box

Lots of wonderful mail coming in....
who knew there were so many of us out there?
A Very Happy Mail Box indeed.

From Linda

and Garci --
love that airline luggage sticker on her envelope.

And this mysterious postcard arrived with no identifying marks or names, not even a postmark -- who sent it?
Maybe it 's from the Mailart 365 Project
http://mailart365.blogspot.com/

Another beautiful watercolor from Marni in Malaysia

Very cool from Alice

And from Tallie

A Welcome to the Mailart 365 group

Check out this great bug stamp!
Love it.

Mail is coming in faster than I can ever photograph it

and post it on here -- or answer it!
I must get out my art supplies and my pens and get busy,
because
we all know you've got to send mail to get mail.

I think I'll go make some postcards.

On Their Way

Busy weekend,
lots of typewriter envelope love went out today,
to places all over. Handmade postcards too.

And, happily, lots of mail has been coming in!
You'll see soon.
Thanks everyone.
