I made some postcard books using sari ribbon instead of the metal rings which also worked as long as you don't have more than 15 or so cards per book. I invested in a Crop-A-Dile after that, now making holes in heavier paper is so much easier. Duh!

I see one of my cards from a while back in your collection! cjsrqhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08972774317519625409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4179696067342818298.post-20517349904878158042018-03-09T08:59:56.083-08:002018-03-09T08:59:56.083-08:00Love it--great idea!Love it--great idea!Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13715337430239844025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4179696067342818298.post-80002358947200841612018-03-09T07:38:56.704-08:002018-03-09T07:38:56.704-08:00Thanks so much Elizabeth -- it is a fun way to mak...Thanks so much Elizabeth -- it is a fun way to make a quick book. I use them as backgrounds for mixed media art. They certainly won't hold up as altered books, since they are not sewn books. I adore how you used yours. I wish I lived closer. I'd share some of my RD books with you. I got them (10) at a garage sale one year and still have six left. Your idea of rings is spot on. I love the idea and those rings allow you to add more art over time, too. It's a fabulous idea and a great post.Bleubeard and Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10149710375520733752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4179696067342818298.post-71325634969898588452018-03-08T19:59:52.482-08:002018-03-08T19:59:52.482-08:00I love your idea of putting mail in a book like th...I love your idea of putting mail in a book like this. I am not real big ox exact measuring...I usually just go down an inch and a half from the top and then from the bottom (measure and make with pencil) and punch the holes. Then I use the covers with the holes as templates o punch the pages. With the Crop-A-Dlle you can punch a few pages at once...hope this explains it....Cappuccinoandartjournal.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11241197153708410602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4179696067342818298.post-33160986265864505762018-03-08T17:01:45.626-08:002018-03-08T17:01:45.626-08:00I've got your address - some time they will sh...I've got your address - some time they will show up :)Jewelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10288811408523764443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4179696067342818298.post-48797448975635299042018-03-08T16:55:08.260-08:002018-03-08T16:55:08.260-08:00Your tips on card cataloging are perfection, Pamel...Your tips on card cataloging are perfection, Pamela!
