Fun in Town

(Fabulous) Incoming Mail
After a not-real-good mail week last week, today I got the most wonderful
mail from Karen who just can't stop carving stamps.
Check out her great post and prepare to get inspired!
I know I'm inspired but I'm even more happy to have received these two handmade beauties
to play with.
How lucky am I? Thanks so much, Karen.

INCOMING
Some other great incoming mail on Saturday...finally feeling cheerful...

How about a little afternoon visit to Scrap? This spot is like catnip to artists of all kinds.

SF SCRAP
Walk in and get ready to explore....

SF SCRAP

Spring?
Hang on...it is coming. These tulips are at the Ferry Plaza Market Marketplace.
Very cheerful, don't you think?

Thanks for the great mail everyone.
Let me know if you all start carving stamps.
Special thanks to Karen.

Happy Mail!

  1. I can't believe you got them already! I mailed them Saturday. It still boggles the mind that packages can travel 3,000 miles so quickly. good ol' USPS.
so glad you like them! I am absolutely drooling over "scrap" and would like to get on a plane right now! -K

    1. Sarala--my friend who lives near Chicago says there is a store like Scrap there too -- and everything is FREE - unlike our Scrap. Check into it....

  3. Pamela - such great mail art fun in our fair City :). Maybe give me a short list of some stamps you would love to have, and I'll see what I can do! (be patient too; my carving, lino, or otherwise seems to happen in waves)

  9. I think the typewriter and post box rubber stamps are amazing!! I would definitely buy something like that if I could find them for sale. (Perhaps Karen could start a business?!?!) Scrap looks like a pretty awesome place.
